This regulated two day course (12 contact hours) is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and babies on a professional level. The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations.
The course is Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage compliment with the qualification fulfilling the requirements for first aid training detailed in the Department for Education’s statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED)
Minor injuries
Meningitis
Wounds, bleeding and shock

Febrile convulsions
Allergic reactions including anaphylaxis

Extreme cold and heat
Head, neck and back injuries
Foreign bodies
Electrical incidents
We are able to run this course for a school / company / team at a venue of your choice in the Southeast of England (maximum 12 persons).
You will need to provide a room with a presentation screen which is big enough for the group to perform practical assessments on each other. Alternatively, we can source a venue for you if required.
