First Aid at Work

This course is a regulated and accredited three-day (18 contact hours) course suited to anyone who requires a higher level of First Aid than the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification based on a risk assessment of First Aid needs. It covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.

This course gives a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. On passing the written, oral and practical assessments, you will receive a Level 3 qualification and certificate in First Aid at Work which lasts three years from the date of your course. For those who have already qualified in this course previously, a two-day (12 contact hours) re-qualification course is available. This can only be completed if your First Aid at Work certificate is still in date or within one month of the expiry date. Courses can be organised on request.

We are able to run this course for a school / company / team at a venue of your choice in the Southeast of England (maximum 12 persons).

You will need to provide a room with a presentation screen which is big enough for the group to perform practical assessments on each other. Alternatively, we can source a venue for you if required
